Discovering the cacciagalli
In the territory of Teano, at the foot of the extinct volcano of Roccamonfina, stands the Wine Resort I Cacciagalli: a space to rediscover balance and well-being, isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city, where time seems to have stopped and the only audible sounds are those of nature. More than a physical place, it is a true mission, driven by Diana and Mario's dream of bringing back to life the farm that has belonged to Diana's family for generations. Today the old farmhouses house 8 rooms, a restaurant and a bathing biolago, surrounded by more than 40 hectares of vineyards, hazelnut groves, olive groves and woods that create a unique environment where you can live an experience with slow rhythms in harmony with nature.

Humus is the perfect synthesis of passion, research and tradition. The contemporary element blends with the flavors of the Campanian tradition, resulting in dishes that enchant the eye and delight the palate. In addition to the a la carte menu, we also offer a tasting menu: a gastronomic journey that enhances local excellence, in which the key ingredient is the seasonal product proposed in a new key by our Chef. Much of the produce comes from our own farm: wine, oil, vegetables, legumes, eggs and white meat are raised by us according to strict criteria of sustainability, balance and respect for the environment. Other raw materials are supplied by small and passionate local producers.

The old estate, with its historic charm and magnificent views of the landscape, is home to eight cozy rooms with a clean and harmonious design, which, combined with the striking natural setting, make it the perfect retreat to indulge in a moment of pure physical and mental refreshment, away from the chaos of the city.
The Biolago
Completely surrounded by greenery, our swimmable biolago is a splendid chlorine-free ecological swimming pool that uses a delicate natural purification system carried out by plants, microflora and microfauna. A unique relaxation area, available to room guests, in which to immerse themselves for a pleasant and regenerating bath on hot summer days, or to relax cheered only by the sounds of nature.

We are in a volcanic land that has such energy in it that it asks you to come out and be heard. We thought the best way to give it a voice was by replanting the vine, where it had always been. Our goal is to tell and enhance the territory through wine, so we chose native grape varieties and winemaking methods that can enhance the link between vine and environment. Good wine is born from the vineyard, our task is to accompany it to the bottle by listening, to bring our land inside every bottle we produce.

A story that continues
Currently, the Cacciagalli, has thirty-five total hectares of land, ten of which are planted with vines, while the remainder is divided among hazelnut groves, olive groves, chestnut groves and land used for growing vegetables and legumes. Local varieties are always preferred, such as the Teano chickpea, ancient native variety of small wrinkled chickpea, included in Slow Food Presidia.
In 2019, the renovation of the pre-existing old farmhouses, intended for accommodation, was completed. Eight rooms, a restaurant and a bathing bio-lake are available to those who have the desire to experience the context of a biodynamic farm, in an area outside the traditional tourist circuits, but of great interest from a landscape and historical-cultural point of view.
